Ren’s self-produced, ambitious album Sick Boi is a monumental effort—18 tracks that stretch him to the fullest as both a songwriter and a producer. “Sick Boi was my way of challenging myself to create an album that’s purely hip-hop,” he explains. “The title reflects my personal battles with health over the past decade. I wanted to craft a project that pushed the boundaries of my beat-making skills and flow.”
