Caribou - Start Breaking My Heart (25th Anniversary Black Vinyl)
Start Breaking My Heart is Dan Snaith's 2001 debut album, first released under the name Manitoba before he became Caribou. Made in a cramped Toronto bedroom on an old computer that could barely handle digital recording, it captures an artist finding his voice, with playful, melodic percussion and warm electronic pop. A chance meeting with Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) at a UK festival helped get the record released and set Snaith's career in motion.
This 25th anniversary repress puts the album back on black vinyl as a single LP, released on People Eating Fruit Records.
